Stronger Than Ever America!
Our Real Valentine Heroes
No sooner than a young friend of mine, Tim, had said “I do” to his beautiful bride, his sailing orders came to go to Afghanistan. You’d think Susan would be used to this by now, since her father is also a military career soldier. Needless to say, she wasn’t. Tim of course is handling it like a true soldier should, but what man wants to leave his new bride for a day, let alone for months at a time? But Tim will, and he will trust his God each step of the way. You see, I know Tim through a spiritual group we both attend, and in the year or so since I’ve know this young career soldier, I can tell you that we here in America have nothing to fear but fear itself. In fact, there are millions of soldiers like Tim right here in our country, poised to defend its honor. In a nutshell, this country will prevail, and in that we can always put our trust.
Now while thousands of our soldiers are preparing to go overseas once again, equal numbers of our civilians are headed for places like Haiti to be of maximum help to our fellow human beings. When will Americans stop giving so much of their time and resources? Never — in fact, never in a million years! Will we get through these hard times? We always have, and we always will. So here’s to America where the good and true outweighs everything infinitesimal.
God bless Americans. God bless America!
